From JPix: A window in Jaffa, by Robin

Leora posted the latest JPix, with photos from around the Jewish blogosphere. While you’re there, don’t miss Leora’s posts on visiting a shiva (mourning) house, and a followup interview with  Batya on managing a shiva house. I recommend bookmarking these in time of need.

Haveil Havalim is up at A Time of the Signs.

I have a new post on  public breastfeeding in the Middle East over at Green Prophet.

Haaretz reports on the latest compromise in the Emanuel story.

The state prosecutor and Noar Kahalakha, the organization that petitioned the High Court against the segregation, on Sunday both accepted the agreement, saying it fulfills the obligation to abide by the court order.

The deal calls for the girls, both Ashkenzai and Sephardi, enrolled at the Beit Yaakov school to spend the next three days – the last three days of the school year – attending lectures on unity.

Please don’t ask me to explain what this means.

  1. Thanks for the double links. Now I need inspiration as to what to write about next…in between, I’ll be posting my usual photos.

I see Jewish Americans posting on FB about Emanuel. I gather I shouldn’t be referring them to you as an expert on this case?

  2. I was referring to Jill, who commented on the posts and asked for my opinion. I did help her sort it out a little. You can send them over, even though this morning I am confounded. Even thought about calling my contact in Emanuel.

  3. And, I gave you triple links. 🙂

  4. Lots of interesting stuff here. Thanks for including my photo as well.
